14-Minute Timer

Press start. Walk away. The browser will alarm when 14 minutes are up.

When a 14-minute timer is the right one

two minutes shorter than the average TED talk, and a workable length for a focused review session.

The timer above is the same one that powers the homepage stopwatch and countdown — it just starts pre-set to 14 minutes so you can hit start and forget about it. There is no account, nothing to install, and the page works offline once it has loaded once.

Will the alarm work if I switch tabs?

Yes — the timer reads the system clock, so switching tabs does not pause it. The alarm fires when the 14 minutes are up. On mobile, browsers may throttle background audio when the screen is locked; for sleep-mode reliability, use your operating system's built-in clock app.

Does it work offline?

After the first load, yes. The page is a static HTML file with no backend.
